Penrith Farmers’ & Kidd’s plc are a Cumbrian-based
company, with a number of specialist subsidiaries covering the
fields of Estate Agency (Commercial and Residential), Land Agency,
Town and Country Planning, and Finance, as well as our Auction
Saleroom. Our offices are spread across the North Lakes area and the
Eden Valley, but business often takes us in to the South Lakes area
and outside Cumbria into Lancashire, County Durham and the Scottish
Borders.
At our purpose-built Auction Saleroom we hold over 25
sales per year, divided into two categories: fortnightly sales of
Victoriana and Later Furnishings and Effects, and Catalogue Sales of Antiques and Collectors’ Items.
We sell anything
from a few pounds to thousands of pounds, across most fields of
collecting. We also occasionally hold single-owner dispersal sales,
on request.
Over the last few years we have experienced nearly
100% upturn in business, and were pleased to receive recognition of
our efforts via a nomination for Northern
Auction House of the Year at the 2003 BACA awards.
